This past weekend I had the pleasure of helping Sam's aunt throw a 90th birthday party for her sweet mother, Miss Rose. Rose is everything I want to be when I'm 90. She's this tiny little redhead who almost always his a drink in her hand (sounds a lot like me already, haha). I was so honored to be asked to help throw such a monumental event, I couldn't say no!
I immediately got my wedding florist (and friend) LeeLina Martin on board. I adore LeeLina. Working with her is always a dream and I love that she has a unique style all her own.
(She did the flowers for our wedding and Danica's baby shower.) She created some of the most stunning arrangements and helped adorn the centerpieces that were all photos of Miss Rose.
My absolute favorite element of the day though, was the welcome sign.
I picked up the chalkboard at Hobby Lobby, and using my Cricut Explore Air 2, I turned a boring chalkboard into a custom welcome sign! And then LeeLina added her florals and OMG... ALL the heart eyed emojis!!
I made a few other fun decor elements using my Cricut, like this custom cake topper.
As always, I didn't take nearly as many photos of the final product as I should have but the party was a great success and I think Rose really enjoyed it.
